It turns out we have read more than half of the past Canada Reads winners lists so I've chosen one that is a little more obscure but seems intriguing and well reviewed.
Its called Rockbound by Frank Parker Day. It may not be widely in print so let me know if its hard to find. I did check and there are stores who have it. It was re-published in 1989.

Is it a Canada Reads novel?
Yes it is. The 2005 winner. I understood that i was to pick a past winner, versus a nominated book.
I've started it and it looks to be a compelling read! Its set in Newfoundland. Ah those Newfies...
