Hi Natalie, I won't be able to attend bookclub tonight. I have a big estimate presentation Friday, and will be working well into the night. I feel so bad that I cannot attend - this will be my first time missing book club in a few years (last time I skipped out on Cottage book club because I was volunteering for the PanAm games!). Have a good evening. I thought the book was fun - it read like an adventure. But I was surprised that boots magically appeared in the Artic, and people conveniently didn't get pregnant even though there was no birth control!

At this rate I am a week overdue and still no baby so my attendance is unlikely. I'll be sorry to miss it - I really enjoyed the book!
