Hi Everyone. Next book club is August 10 at my house,
Looking forward to discussing the book of short stories "Almost Famous Women" with you.
Little note: our house flooded. The disaster team is in doing clean up. But I'm pretty sure I can still make it work by August 10. Shrug of shoulders and move forward, yes?
If anyone has any food concerns they would like to share, please let me know.

Did your house flood last night during that flash storm? Here's hoping things dry out. I will be there to lead the book discussion.... I didn't love the book nor did I hate the book so I'm interested in what others thought. Feels like it's been ages since I've been to book club since I missed the cottage.
I do not eat red meat or shellfish but I'm always happy to load up on bread and salad so cook anything you like and don't worry about me.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it after all.
My sister just had her first baby last night and we are leaving for our holiday this week so tonight is the only time I can spend with her. Have a great get together and look forward to seeing everyone in September!
