My friend Sharon Butala is launching her book "Wild Rose" in Toronto October 23. I'll be out of town and won't make it, but I was at her reading and launch in Calgary last month and it was terrific. Sharon is a wonderful writer and it's a great book, historical fiction, uber Canadian and feminist and a ripping good story. If any of you are interested and go, say hi to her for me.
