I'm looking forward to seeing everyone after the holidays. I feel that we kicked off the holidays together and now we can commiserate all of the overindulgences. One thing I know for sure is that there will be no bloody meat on the menu. Get your gore on.

Alas, I will not be attending the meeting. I have been devouring every book I can find about Peru, Ecuador and the history of South America! Alex and I are going to be traveling there for 6 weeks starting in May so I will be spending my reading time learning as much as I can before the trip!

Girls, I have been slammed with the flu that everyone has had, and can barely sit here at my first day back at work. I plan to go home to bed at 3:30, I need to shake this flu that I have had since the 29th. It would be irresponsible for me to show up and spread my germs, that and I can barely speak. Given I have been in my bed for 4 days I finished the book, fulfilling one of my resolutions to finish every book in 2011. Sorry
I apologize for not responding earlier and my not being able to attend tonight Carolyn.
